In our 2023 fiscal year (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023), we experienced a 12% increase in clients served, providing treatment and services to over 15,000 individuals throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C. According to the National Institute on Drugs and Addiction (NIDA), substance use disorder (SUD) continues to be a public health crisis, with over 20 million people diagnosed with SUD, yet only 10 percent of those individuals received SUD treatment. The work that we do at Gaudenzia is needed more than ever as we continue to help save lives and bring families together through expanded services, evidence-based treatment and compassionate, expert care.
