Dr. Gilbert, a veteran executive in the treatment of substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions, has over twenty years of experience in the behavioral health services. In her role as President and CEO, she is responsible for overseeing the agency’s 1,200 healthcare professionals who treat more than 15,000 clients annually throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C. Joining Gaudenzia in 2024, she is the first female to hold this position in the organization’s 55+ year history.
Prior to joining the Gaudenzia team, Dr. Gilbert served as the CEO of Harmony Health Group where she oversaw a multi-state, multi-level behavioral health company and was responsible for driving profitability, expanding organizational footprint, directing business development, and overseeing the overall operations of the company. Prior to that role, Dr. Gilbert served in executive leadership roles for Futures Recovery Healthcare, Retreat Premier Addiction Treatment Centers and Onward Behavioral Health. Additionally, Dr. Gilbert is a licensed therapist with extensive experience facilitating individual, group, and family treatment services.
Dr. Gilbert holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counseling Studies from Capella University. She earned both a Master of Science (MS) in Counseling Psychology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Chestnut Hill College. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Counseling Psychology from Bloomsburg University.
Dr. Gilbert lives in the greater Philadelphia region with her family. She is an avid reader and appreciates art as well as nature.
