Regional Executive Director, Chesapeake Region

Adina Levi serves as Regional Executive Director of Gaudenzia’s Chesapeake Region, bringing more than 15 years of leadership experience across behavioral health, substance use treatment, and justice-involved systems. A licensed professional counselor, she has led high-performing teams across outpatient, residential, and integrated care settings—consistently advancing access, quality, and outcomes for individuals and families. 

Throughout her career, Adina has held senior leadership roles across both public and private sectors, including executive positions with the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services, the District of Columbia’s Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services, Recovery Centers of America, and Universal Health Services. In these roles, she has overseen complex, multi-site operations; managed large-scale budgets and regulatory requirements; and led cross-sector collaborations spanning healthcare, public health, justice systems, and community-based organizations. 

Adina is known for her ability to build strong clinical cultures while driving operational performance. She has implemented data-informed strategies to improve patient access and continuity of care, strengthened referral pathways, and advanced trauma-informed, person-centered care models—particularly for individuals navigating multiple systems. 

Her leadership approach is grounded in collaboration, coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement. With an entrepreneurial mindset, Adina focuses on aligning operational strategy with high-quality care, ensuring that services are responsive, sustainable, and centered on the needs of the people and communities Gaudenzia serves. 

She holds a Master of Arts in Community Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology with a focus on Urban Policy Studies.
