A County-Level Look at SUD Data and Demographics
2022 | 2023 FrontLine Report
Gaudenzia, Inc. has created our Frontline Report to inform our
stakeholders in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Washington, D.C. of the
trends we see in the field of addiction treatment. Gaudenzia has the
distinction of being one of the largest non-profit treatment providers for
people with substance use and co-occurring disorders in the Mid- Atlantic
region. With 120 programs across 50 facilities, Gaudenzia served over 15,000
clients in our 2023 fiscal year (July 2022 – June 2023).
In alignment with the American Society of Addiction Medicine
(ASAM), we provide a full continuum of evidence-based treatment services,
including withdrawal management, high- and low intensity residential services,
partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment
services. Additionally, we offer harm reduction services, prevention education,
recovery support and affordable housing as well as provide specialized
programming to meet the needs of pregnant and parenting women, adolescents,
individuals with co-occurring diagnoses, and individuals involved in the
criminal justice system.
We invite you to read through the Frontline Report for general
observations and regionally specific county-by-county data on demographics and
primary and secondary substance use disorder diagnoses across our service
areas. We welcome any feedback you may have at publicrelations@gaudenzia.org.
