Mr. Bickford joined Gaudenzia in 2023 as the Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he is responsible for building and executing financial strategies for the organization while overseeing fiscal responsibilities and financial deliverables.
With nearly four decades of financial leadership in the behavior health sector, Mr. Bickford brings vast experience to the organization. Before joining Gaudenzia, Mr. Bickford served as CFO at Community Behavioral Health in Philadelphia. Prior to that role, he served in leadership roles at MVP Health Plan, Atlantis Health Systems, Pennsylvania HealthMATE, CBNHP/AmeriHealth Mercy, and the Pennsylvania Employees Benefit Trust Fund.
Mr. Bickford and his wife enjoy traveling, golf and motorcycling as well as watching their grandchildren grow up. He also has a passion for music, playing the guitar, keyboards and woodwinds as well as authoring eight novels with more on the way.
Why I Work at Gaudenzia:
I have been directly involved in the financing of behavioral health and substance abuse treatment for the Medicaid population in eastern and central Pennsylvania regions. By joining Gaudenzia, I now have the opportunity to work with payers to align incentives and improve reimbursement for addiction recovery and enhance the quality of services for our communities.
