To commemorate National Recovery Month, we are highlighting #RecoverAtGaudenzia by featuring various resources and programs available to those seeking treatment for substance use disorders. The theme for the month, “Recovery is for Everyone,” embodies Gaudenzia’s mission to treat clients with a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to individualized care.
At Gaudenzia, many recovery journeys start with the 24/7 Treatment and Recovery Helpline to help find the right treatment program to fit someone’s specific needs.
The confidential helpline was created to reduce barriers to treatment by serving as an access point for callers to get instant referral help. As one of the largest treatment providers in the region, Gaudenzia offers more than 117 programs at 51 locations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C. The helpline allows those seeking treatment to find the most appropriate program.
Gaudenzia, located in Pennsylvania at the Coal Township Facility, is equipped with specialists available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ready to assist all callers including first responders, loved ones, people seeking help for themselves, and other treatment providers – basically anyone who needs to connect themselves or someone else to treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
“Gaudenzia’s Treatment and Recovery Helpline staff are passionate about connecting those seeking help to the best treatment we can offer,” said Helpline Director George Weller, “We pride ourselves on meeting needs with compassion and the best customer service possible.”
