Gaudenzia Names Robert Bickford as Its New Chief Financial Officer

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (July 18, 2023) — Robert Bickford has been named the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Gaudenzia, Inc. An experienced behavioral health c-suite executive, Bickford will oversee financial operations for one of the nation’s largest nonprofit providers of treatment for people with substance use (SUD) and co-occurring disorders.

As Gaudenzia’s CFO, Bickford will continue the organization’s momentum by building and executing financial strategies for the organization while overseeing fiscal responsibilities and financial deliverables. He will ensure effective stewardship of resources while managing and planning for a strong financial future. Bickford’s role will play an integral part in Gaudenzia’s evolution as an industry leader while ensuring continued growth of services and scope to meet the needs of its clients and communities.

Bickford’s experience in the behavioral health sector spans almost four decades, most recently with Community Behavioral Health (CBH) in Philadelphia as its CFO since 2018. He spent 11 years leading finance and operations for MVP Health Plan in addition to serving as executive director for Atlantis Health Systems, CFO and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Pennsylvania HealthMATE, CFO for the CBNHP/AmeriHealth Mercy, and CFO for the Pennsylvania Employees Benefit Trust Fund.
