Gaudenzia Erie, Inc.’s 22nd Annual Race for Recovery is a 10K race, 5K run/walk and a 1K fun run/walk that started in 1998 in Erie, Pennsylvania. The race is held to celebrate the recovery of all Erie County residents who commit daily to being drug and alcohol-free.
This year, the event is scheduled for Saturday, September 21st at Presque Isle State Park. In addition to the run and walk, there will also be a DJ and many raffle prizes. Registration will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. with the first race commencing at 9 a.m. In addition, for the first time, there will be a Narcan educational session and distribution provided by Coalition Pathways.
