Erie, PA – On Wednesday, August 28th, the Erie SeaWolves will host “Gaudeniza Night at UPMC Park” when they take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels. The SeaWolves, which are a member of the Eastern League’s Western Division, are the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play their home games at UPMC Park, which is located at 110 East 10th Street in Erie.

The game will commence at 7:05, and Dr. Dale Klatzker, who was recently appointed CEO of Gaudenzia, Inc., which operates more than 165 programs in more than 100 facilities in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C., will throw out the ceremonial first pitch that evening.

For each $10 ticket voucher sold by Board members and staff, Gaudenzia Erie, Inc. will keep $4, which goes to their Patient Fund and helps those in the community who are battling addiction. These vouchers are also good for any SeaWolves game throughout the 2019 season. In addition to being a great fundraiser, it will also serve as a great opportunity for individuals to learn more about the programs and services that Gaudenzia provides in the Erie community.

“To be able to partner up with an organization like the Erie SeaWolves is a tremendous opportunity,” said Jason Kisielewski, Community Affairs Manager. “Much like Gaudenzia, the SeaWolves are very community-based and have a strong commitment to making Erie a better place to call home.”
