Planned Giving

Your Contribution, Our Future

You can help sustain the impact and quality of our recovery services!

Your commitment of a planned gift will ensure our work continues for years to come. Planned giving is, in its simplest form, a donation given over time or as part of a donor’s estate.

Planned gift options put your assets to work with tax-efficient charitable strategies and other tax benefits.

  • Depending on the size of the gift, it may be beneficial to use a charitable gift plan that provides guaranteed lifetime income, plus an immediate charitable income tax deduction, using a charitable gift annuity.

Consider the following options to help sustain Gaudenzia’s treatment and recovery services well into the future.

Securities

A gift of your securities, including stocks or bonds, is an easy way to make a gift. By making a gift of your appreciated securities, you can avoid paying capital gains tax that would otherwise be due if you sold these assets.

Real Estate

A gift of your real property such as your home, vacation property, vacant land, farmland or commercial property, can make a great gift. You can avoid paying capital gains tax by gifting it, receive a charitable income tax deduction based on the value of the gift, and leave a lasting legacy to Gaudenzia.

Retirement Assets

Name Gaudenzia to receive a percentage, specific amount or the remainder of your IRA, pension, or other tax deferred plan.

Life Insurance

Designate Gaudenzia as the beneficiary of a new or existing policy.

Cash

A gift of cash is a simple and easy way to make a gift.

Bequest

A bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make. With the help of an advisor, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift be made to Gaudenzia as part of your estate plan. The benefits are that you leave a lasting legacy to be remembered, you lessen the burden of taxes on your family, and you may receive estate tax savings.

If you are considering a future gift of any size, please let us know.  We’ll invite you to join our Legacy Society and assist you in creating a meaningful and personal legacy gift.
