As a team, we are passionate about our mission, work on some of the most challenging and complex substance use problems our clients face, and deliver high-impact outcomes every day.

Dale Klatzker, PhD

Chief Executive Officer, Gaudenzia, Inc.

Dr. Klatzker has over 40 years of leadership experience in behavioral healthcare. He is well-known nationally for his visionary guidance and outstanding industry achievements. He holds a PhD in Social Policy, Planning & Administration from the Heller Graduate School for Advanced Studies in Social Welfare at Brandeis University, a Master of Social Work from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University. As CEO, Dr. Klatzker provides Gaudenzia a wealth of knowledge, skills, and leadership that will continue to affect thousands of people's lives each day.

Michael B. Harle, MHS

President, Gaudenzia Foundation

Mr. Harle began his career as a chemical dependency counselor in 1973. He quickly established drug and alcohol treatment programs at three Pennsylvania state correctional institutions. He received his master's degree in human services from Lincoln University in 1978 and holds a nonprofit management certificate from Harvard University Business School.

Gadi Aronson, MSW

Chief Community Engagement Officer

Mr. Aronson has been with Gaudenzia since 2004 and has over 30 years’ experience in fundraising. Mr. Aronson is responsible for all aspects of fundraising, government relations and public information.

Cecilia Velasquez, MHS

Chief Clinical Officer

Ms. Velasquez has been with Gaudenzia since 1981 and has worked in the human services field since 1974. She has worked with a wide range of populations including people with chemical dependency and dual diagnosis, single women and mothers in need, victims of domestic and/or sexual violence, community corrections and prisons, and the homeless.

John G. DiLeonardo, Esq.

Counsel and Director of Compliance

Mr. DiLeonardo serves as Gaudenzia’s Counsel and Director of Compliance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington & Jefferson College (1976) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law (1979), where he was elected to the Order of the Barristers for superior achievement in courtroom advocacy. John has an extensive background in health care law. He has prosecuted and tried healthcare related and other cases in the Pennsylvania State Courts as well as in Federal Courts sitting in Pennsylvania and in Florida. His work experience includes serving as Pennsylvania Chief Deputy Attorney General for Medicaid/Healthcare prosecutions; as Prosecuting Attorney for the State Board of Medicine in Pennsylvania; and in private practice where he represented clients in civil, criminal, and administrative litigation matters.

Sharon Johnson, MBA, SHRM-SCP

Chief Human Resources Officer

Ms. Johnson oversees all of Gaudenzia's human resources and personnel services for more than 1,200 full-and part-time employees. Since starting her Gaudenzia career in 1990, she has held many senior positions in the Finance and Human Resources departments. Ms. Johnson holds a Senior Certified Professional Human Resource Certification (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Professionals, a master's degree in human resources from Walden University, and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.

Erin Pressel, MS, MBA, CCJP, CCDP

Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer

Ms. Pressel has worked in the mental health and drug and alcohol service systems in many different capacities for over 15 years. She was a residential counselor with at-risk youth, a mental health intensive case manager, a drug and alcohol counselor, and a county case management specialist. Ms. Pressel earned a Bachelor of Science with a minor in psychology from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, a Master of Science with a concentration in homeland security from California University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s degree in marketing from Columbia Southern University.
