On October 3, Gaudenzia graduated 100 individuals at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Guest speakers included U.S. Congressman John Sarbanes and State’s Attorney Patricia Jessamy. The Garden Harvest Organic Farm was presented with an award of appreciation for their work with Chesapeake Region clients, while Carlos Hardy, the Director of Public Affairs for Baltimore Substance Abuse Systems, was honored with the Robert Thomas Role Model Award.

Jim Dasher, of Garden Harvest Organic Farm invites clients to plant and harvest fruits and vegetables at his farm. Additionally, he provides the program with livestock, such as goats and lambs.
