Treatment for the women consists of an intake evaluation, a three-phase residential rehabilitation process, and aftercare services.

A woman has completed treatment after the re-entry phase. This phase consists of closely monitoring the client, while she builds a dependable work record and becomes financially stable and is able obtain adequate living arrangements in the community. The objective is to enable women to become independent, thereby reducing their reliance upon government support.

The Aftercare Program assists the women in making a transitional adjustment from inpatient to outpatient treatment. Women that reside in Lancaster County or relocate can be referred to the Elise Shenk Outpatient Center located on the Vantage Campus. Outpatient services are a separate and distinct program, designed for women who have completed inpatient treatment.
