CRITERIA
FOR ADMISSION:

Must be physically suitable to participate in the therapeutic phases
of the programs.

Every prospective client will undergo a clinical interview conducted
by trained staff.

A client having a history of psychosis or displays of psychotic
behavior may be referred for additional evaluation prior to admission.

Additional charges for ancillary services such as urinalysis testing

PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION:
Gaudenzia has been providing comprehensive outpatient treatment services
since 1970. Gaudenzia's outpatient programs offer drug-free programs
for adults and adolescents experiencing problems with substance abuse.
The programs are designed to help the client realize his or her potential,
develop an a positive self-image and improve interpersonal relationships
without the use of mood altering substances. The treatment plans are
based on the individual needs of each client and include:

AFTERCARE:
Gaudenzia's outpatient services provide aftercare and continuing care
services for those individuals who have completed an inpatient rehabilitation
program. Once clients return to their work sites, outpatient programming
becomes an integral part of the continuing care plan.
Strong
emphasis is placed on responsibility, stability, improved life skills,
and the development of a comprehensive support system through AA and/or
NA. The counseling staff works closely with other community agencies
and private participation to provide a comprehensive network of services
for a client.
Two
case managers arrange core services such as education and seminars for
individuals who are in need of these services. The drug and alcohol
counselor and the case manger work as a team to pursue a comprehensive
program for referred individuals.
