PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
The design of Gaudenzia's prevention and education programs is the result of the experience and knowledge Gaudenzia has acquired over the years in working with high-risk children and their parents. In providing services for children, Gaudenzia has observed an immediate association between effective prevention efforts and the involvement of family members and community. Thus, the key aspects of Gaudenzia's prevention programs are basic education, parenting training and family/community involvement.

The Nelson Children's Center was developed to expand the curriculum for the Prevention project.
