DESCRIPTION:
Gaudenzia House Broad Street is a residential inpatient and non-hospital
treatment program for men and women who are dually diagnosed (mentally
ill and chemically dependent). The Broad Street program was opened after
the closure of the Philadelphia State Hospital (PSH) as an alternative
community based approach to the treatment of seriously mentally ill individuals
with co-existing chemical dependency. Broad Street provides a wide array
