ACCESS TRAINING DIVISION OFFERS SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS TO ADDRESS THE CONCERNS OF TODAY’S EMPLOYER:

ACCESS offers an experienced training team of professionals to meet your on or off-site educational needs. Programs are available for supervisors, Labor organizations and the general employee population. In addition to our EAP training for supervisors and employees, the following is a sample of the most requested training topics.

TAKE TEN: TEN STEPS TO STRESS MANAGEMENT: This 2-hour training is for and about the employee. It is an opportunity to gain insight into people problems at the worksite and provide tips on handling difficult situations.

WORKPLACE VIOLENCE: Bullet Proofing Your Workplace: Workplace violence is defined as “any physical assault, threatening behavior or verbal abuse occurring in the work setting”. Designed for supervisors, this 3-hour seminar provides an understanding of the extent of the problem and discusses prevention strategies for the 21st Century.

WORKING TOGETHER TO CREATE THE RESPECTFUL WORKPLACE (Understanding Sexual Harassment) The 3-hour program was developed with built in flexibility to accommodate both supervision and line staff. Numerous legal precedents establishing the parameters of sexual harassment and the liabilities of the individual and the employer will be presented.

DEALING WITH DIFFICULT PEOPLE AND SITUATIONS IN THE WORKPLACE This program responds to the needs of supervision and the worksite in helping attendees understand the problems that can occur, the different personalities they may encounter and how to utilize problem solving skills in a professional, non-hostile environment.

COACHING SKILLS FOR SUCCESS is a package of training and coaching that will benefit any business or industrial environment by fostering an atmosphere in which employees become more productive and valuable.

SAFETY AND SECURITY IN THE FINANCIAL INDUSTRY is a 3-hour seminar
designed specifically for banks and other financial institutions.

REASONABLE SUSPICION TRAINING* meeting regulations issued by the Dept. of Transportation which have a singular objective; to prevent accidents, injury and death caused by drivers who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

PREVENTION IN THE WORKPLACE – CREATING A DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE PROGRAM is an hour-long overview of how to make the supervisor’s job easier by
addressing alcohol and other drug use among employees.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS designed for employee groups and presented in 1 and 2 hour segments on various drugs of abuse.
