As the Director of Admissions and Recruitment for Gaudenzia, Inc., I am proud to announce that we have entered into a dynamic partnership with Eastern University. This partnership grew out of an ever pressing need to provide human service workers currently working in the field of substance abuse, mental health, and criminal justice services the required knowledge and skills to eventually become Licensed Certified Counselors.
Gaudenzia Inc. and Eastern University have joined forces to make this exciting possibility a reality. Upon completion of the Associate of Liberal Arts degree with a concentration in Addiction Studies the student may well be equipped to move into an entry level counseling position at Gaudenzia, Inc. with an (AAC) Associate Addiction Counselor Certification from the Pennsylvania Certification Board.
This 61 credit hour degree program is an accelerated learning experience that will combine both in-class and on-line presentations. Students carry no more than two classes at any given time throughout the four semester program. The start date will be July 14, 2007. The course work has Pennsylvania Certification Board approval and when completed the student can apply for their Associate Addictions Counselor status with the PCB.
As the Director of Admissions and Recruitment for Gaudenzia, Inc., I am looking for motivated people seeking to make a difference in the Human Services field. I stand ready to assist applicants interested in this opportunity for personal advancement.
